Toll free no. for complaints on fee reimbursement scheme soon
Hyderabad : The state will set up a “toll-free number” to enable students under the fee reimbursement scheme to lodge complaints against college managements who harass them for fees.
“We are working on the modalities for setting up a toll-free number. It will soon be notified publicly and students can lodge their complaints round the clock,” said Mr Botsa Satyanarayana, the minister for panchayat raj.
Mr Satyanarayana said, “This year, 31.29 lakh students are expected to benefit from the scheme.” He was addressing the media along with the minister for social welfare, Mr P. Subhash Chandra Bose, and the minister for tribal welfare, Mr Balaraju.
